Configurable Session Timeouts
Almost 1 year ago we made generally available the desktop app. Turning mabl into an app was a huge milestone, and we haven't stopped improving the experience since.
If you are like us, when you are using an app you don't expect to have to login every day. The mabl desktop app 1.9.3 release supports configurable session timeouts!
Workspace owners will be able to configure the duration of the session that will apply to all of the users within the company. The new setting can be accessed from the Settings > WORKSPACE tab. This feature is available to all customers by default, so please contact support or your CSM if you don't have access. Similarly, please reach out to support or your mabl contact if you're in a mabl trial to gain access. Learn more in our docs
The new setting lets workspace owners configure the duration of the session for all users within the company.
The session configuration will have an impact across all mabl products. Whether you use mabl from your favorite browser or with the desktop app, or the CLI (at least version 1.20.17 required), the same session duration will apply.
Latest versions of the desktop app and CLI required
Before attempting to change the session timeout, be sure that all of the users in your company have updated to the latest versions of the desktop app and CLI.
