Descriptions for credentials, applications and environments

In complex environments with many applications, environments, and credentials, just a name is often not enough to describe a configuration entity. You can now use descriptions to capture and share with your team additional information about your configuration.

Credentials

You can enter descriptions in the credential create and edit screens.

You will see the new description column in the Credentials table. You can also see the description of your Credentials when you hover over credential name in the plan edit screen.

Credentials with descriptions will display the information icon next to them and the description on hover.

Applications and Environments

Application and Environment create and edit screens also allow you to capture descriptions.

Application row header and Environment row header will display descriptions when you hover over the names.
