Link to existing jira cloud issues
mabl's Jira cloud integration now supports linking to existing issues, in addition to creating new ones. This was our most requested feature when previewing the new Jira cloud integration and adds a ton of flexibility. Examples of ways you can leverage issue linking include.
- Linking a mabl test failure to a known bug
- Linking multiple test failure runs to a single bug
- Linking a test to a Zephyr issue or other task representing a test case
To use the feature, just create an issue from the test output, to link a test run, or test details page, to link a test. Then select link existing in the new issue modal.

Search for your issue using the Jira issue number or issue text. This will do a lookup against Jira to find matching issues. Select one and hit submit. If there is no mabl issue linking to this JIra issue, mabl will create one and link it to the Jira issue. Otherwise, the integration will augment the existing issue to also link this test case or test run.
If you navigate to the issue in Jira, it will hyperlink back to all linked test runs, tests, and plans.
