Mention specific Slack users in Slack messages
Do you use the mabl Slack integration to notify specific channels when tests fail? Would you like mabl to mention certain users (such as yourself) in those messages so that they are alerted in Slack?
You can now configure mabl to mention specific users in Slack notifications.
Configuration
When you add or edit a Slack integration, you'll see a new Mention field where you can select members from your Slack workspace.

New Slack scope required: users:read
The ability to fetch Slack users requires a new scope users:read for each mabl/Slack integration. mabl will request this scope for any new Slack integrations created from mabl.
Existing Slack integrations
Existing integrations will continue to function with no action on your part, but the "Mention" field will be disabled.

If you wish to take advantage of the new mention functionality, you will need to delete and reconfigure your existing integrations. This will grant mabl the appropriate permissions.
Message examples
Once Slack users are configured, all messages that are posted from mabl will include @mention. An example of the message that gets posted when integration is first created:
